Proposals for Nokia-OKKA Educational Recognition Award in ICT 14.4. – 30.5.2025
The recognition award, presented jointly by Nokia Foundation and OKKA Foundation, will be given for excellence in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) education at Finnish universities.
The prize can be awarded to professors, research directors, postdoctoral researchers, researchers, experts, project managers, lecturers, university teachers and assistants. The prize can be awarded to an individual or to a team for outstanding education and teaching.
Award criteria
The main criteria for the award are the excellence and innovation of ICT teaching, the pedagogical approach to inspiring students and the contribution of education to meeting the needs of society and working life.
Submitting a proposal
A recognition award can be proposed by a colleague, a member of staff, a work community, a student organisation or a partner. Please submit a proposal for the award recipient, with justification, either in Finnish or English via OKKA grant system.
Call for proposals is open 14.4.-30.5.2025.
Key days/info
Nokia Foundation and OKKA Foundation will decide on one or more laureates in August 2025, after which the award winners will be contacted. Recognition awards will be presented at the Nokia Foundation Awards Ceremony in November 2025.
